License Commission — Grand Prix Café
License review

Dear License Commission members:

I write in support of the Grand Prix Café's license review. In the six months that the Café has been open it has become of very popular neighborhood gathering spot, filling the need for a full-day & weekend coffee shop in this mix of residential and commercial uses.

The Café is well run, keeps its proper hours and to the best of my knowledge has generated no concerns about traffic, parking, trash, noise or any other thing of a similar nature. I live only a few hundred feet from the Café and am constantly both visiting the café and passing by either on foot or on my bicycle, and I have never witnessed any problematic occurrences. To the contrary, the large number of people who have told me what a treasure this new café is for our neighborhood speaks directly to its value to the surrounding community.

I hope that the Commission finds it within its power to approve the Grand Prix Café's license indefinitely.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about this issue.

Sincerely,

Craig Kelley
